My new "Policy": Throw awesome happy hours

... or rather, that's my ALL THE TIME policy, after the happy hour we had Thursday at Policy Restaurant and Lounge. More than 60 people attended -- with some even staying until last call, and I've gotten confirmation that one person had to call in sick on Friday -- and we had the whole upstairs floor to ourselves.

This was possibly the coolest thing that has ever happened to me in my life. (If you're a new reader, check out this entry to understand why those drinks are phenomenal.)

But more than the fancy drinks at the fancy bar, I have to thank all of you guys who came out to play with me. This blog was borne out of something painful -- a breakup -- but writing it, throwing happy hours and meeting all of you makes me happy inside my heart. 

You guys are the truly EPIC ones.
